    The X Rocker – Turn it up!, August 7, 2010

    This gaming chair is one of the more comfortable ones I have tried over the years. Setup took a few minutes to insert all the bolts in the frame and arms, but it was simple enough. I hooked up the wireless transmitter to my LCD TV’s Audio Output through a stereo splitter also used for my external speakers. Plugged in the chair, flipped the chair’s wireless receiver switch to pick up the transmitter, turned it all on, and sat down. The sound is great, when you hear someone talk it’s like they’re right there with you. The vibration is a nice added feature, although you have to have the chair at a high volume to feel it. Long exposure to sound levels that activate the vibration can be a bit deafening, but honestly i’ts fun to rock out listening to a few tracks. Added ports are for headphones and a mp3 hookup which is nice; no delay was detected with wireless transmitter as well. I would recommend it to a friend.

    -Pros-
    Awesome Sound & Vibration
    Comfortable, Keeps Good Posture
    Easy Setup

    -Cons-
    Leaning back is very limited
    No power charger included for transmitter
    Arms are of lesser quality

    ::Update December 2012::

    After a couple years of using this chair I report that it is still holding up somewhat. Padding in the seat has become almost obsolete so I had to add some padding to sit on to make it comfortable otherwise you end up sitting on the wooden frame. It creaks a lot and others have reported it falling apart, but so far mine still stands on its own. I should have mentioned in my initial review my size; I’m a 5’8 190lb guy who uses it for a good number of hours each day.

    ::Update Mid 2013::

    Metal frame that bolts to the chair and sits in the plate below has crumbled into fragments. Can’t really use it without it sitting in its base, not for floor use. So I’ll attempt a welding repair on it but even the padding is almost obsolete; the chair did not last as long as I had hoped for. I’m not gonna try to contact the manufacturer after reading that others have tried with not much luck. In my opinion I have to deduct a star because of this issue.

    Bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiance and he says he loves it! He is a long term gamer, and really seems to like it. I asked him his favorite thing and he says how comfortable it is. He is a tall guy at 6’1 {260lbs} and its a good size for him. He says it feel secure, like it can hold his frame.

    He also loves the side speakers, which I can also say sound great! It really is like a surround sound experience. When at max volume it is VERY loud!! He also loves the fact that it is on a pedestal and not a floor rocker. He compared it to a previous chair he had and he loves the arms better, and how strong they are. Also it looks just like the picture, I was a big worried about the fabric of the chair but it really is a nice quality chair. He seems to really love it- and not just because its from me lol.
    Also he added he likes the fact that it turns (swivels) and the padding on the back.

    Also it is wireless which is a big plus- and it is compatible with the Xbox One, which had me worried because I couldn’t find a review confirming it was- but it is!!! Took him about 15 minutes to figure out how to connect it for sound, and 10 to actually build the chair. All in All I feel like it was worth the money and like I got him something he can enjoy :)

    I have 4 of these chairs in a truck I use at car shows every weekend. The truck gets over 1000 people a weekend going through it and tons of kids and adults climbing in and out of these chairs. The sound is great. The comfort is still there and they have been beet on by so many people and still are physically in very good shape. I also have two in the living room for gaming and love using them. I do wish the arms were padded but I guess it’s a small thing considering they work very good and hold up to abuse! The pictures I’ve added are of the Chairs in the truck, The Xbox systems they are working with and the truck that halls it all around. Can’t say enough good about these!
