Worst printer on the market — going back to Walmart, June 18, 2014

While I bought this printer at Walmart — I am giving feedback here, so no Amazonites wind up with a printer which JAMS constantly. Go to Walmart’s site, search for the printer, and you will see all the negative feedback this printer has, for PAPER JAMS. If it was ONE jam, I might understand; if it was only ONE person, having all the jams, I might also understand that. But when multiple buyers, from all over, are complaining that this printer jams consistently — you might want to believe it, and save yourself some aggravation, time, and money. Don’t buy !!!

Cheap but hard to set up, October 5, 2014

I bought this printer to replace a basic Canon printer (IP2600) that I had used extensively for over five years. This model used the same ink as my second Canon printer MG2220. The MG2220 and MG3522 look similar but the MG2220 has a more complex button layout and also has a LED display. The MG3522 looks like a cheaper quality printer.
I spent close to three hours to get the wireless to set up for my PC and laptop.
For my PC, I couldn’t get it setup without using a USB cable although the software had the option to setup without it. Once I got it working, I disconnected the USB cable and it worked fine.
As for my laptop, at first it connected without the USB cable but I mistakenly installed the software where the printer would send Canon my printer information. I uninstalled everything and restarted. It wouldn’t connect and I uninstalled and re-installed many, many times. Finally when I saw that my web browser wouldn’t connect, I realized that the Internet connection had been disabled. I had to reconnect and set it to auto connect. After that, the installation worked. Now I have both my PC and my laptop connected to the same printer.
I read about some who wrote that the paper jams. My MG2220 (which looks identical) has never jammed. I don’t use the duplex printer and I wonder if that causes it or whether the printer jammed with normal printing. Since I print very often, I’ll see how this printer holds up very soon.
